August Spotlight: Ines Villar the ROCKSTAR!!!
Our August camper spotlight of the month is quite an inspiration…
Ines Villar has been with Forte Fitness for a little over a year and her achievements and positive motivation are unbelievable!
No matter the challenge, she gives it 110%. She’s been known to make the people around her push that extra little bit, and with her hot pink tank, you’ll be sure not to miss her in the morning!

Here’s what Ines had to say…
Q: What made you decide you wanted to join Forte Fitness?
A: I found Forte Fitness through Groupon and initially thought I would go for the Groupon time frame and then go back to what I was already doing. I have been active and working out in one way or another since a young teenager and thought I could do this on my own. It didn’t take long for me to realize how effective and complete the programs were and how much I needed the camaraderie and Alicia’s dietary advice. Keeping yourself on track is a lot easier when there is someone there reminding you your goals.
Q. What results have you achieved so far?
My absolute biggest achievement since joining Forte Fitness was gaining endurance. Not only do I see a difference in my workouts, I see a huge difference in my day-to-day activities. I am amazed at my energy level throughout the day especially after a morning workout and I feel the difference when I skip a morning.
3. What big milestone/goals have you accomplished?
By far my biggest milestone was accomplished just recently at the Watermelon Run 5k with Dawn, Sally and Maribel. Although I considered myself “fit” when I started at Forte Fitness, I have never been able to run any distance without feeling like I was about to pass out. I was ecstatic when I saw the finish line and realized I went the duration of the race without stopping (thank you Dawn for not letting me quit). This is a huge milestone since those first few mornings at boot camp when I couldn’t make it around the ¼ mile track once without stopping for a breather.
4. What would you say to someone on the fence about making a change & committing to their goals?
There will always be an excuse or reason to postpone a decision and time will pass whether you do it or not. If you really want to make a positive change, don’t let those excuses get in your way. It won’t be easy at first, but it is amazing at how quickly your body begins to change.
