Do YOU Know the Answer to this Question?

Some of the WORLDS top fitness professionals were at the conference I attended (and presented at!) at in California last weekend.

I was blown away the entire weekend by spending time with such passionate, motivated, and driven people.

One of my BEST take-aways came from a guy named Rocco Castellano.

Rocco talked about how important it is to:

KNOW who you are, WHAT you stand for, & what your MISSION is.

The answers to those questions are not easy- and will take time to really figure out.

But once you do figure it out, you will truly be able to move in a direction with confidence, KNOWING that it is your purpose.

Rocco explained that once you determine what your “Core Values” are, who you really are, and what your mission is, ANY decision that comes your way should be an easy one.

Simply put….It’s either in line with your personal beliefs, or it’s not.

It’s NOT about trying to be like anyone else either.

It’s all about being the BEST POSSIBLE “YOU” that you can be.

Dax Moy (an AMAZING presenter at the conference from the UK) commits himself to excellence each and every day.

Every single day, he works hard to become “the BEST DAX MOY he could ever be.”  He never tries to be like anyone else, but he commits to be the best “Dax” in the world, today.

In fact he stated: “I am the best Dax Moy you will ever meet….but you’ll NEVER meet me again.”  Next time you meet him, he will be better than he is today.

It’s all about making small changes each day to make yourself a better person and better at what you do.

I realize that this is not really fitness related, but I thought it was SO important and wanted to share it with you.

This week, I am going to work really hard to determine EXACTLY who I am, what I stand for, and what my mission is….

AND, I am going to share mine with you once I figure it out.

In the mean time, I am going to stay committed to making small, positive changes in myself every day.

Please leave a comment below and let me know what you think about this post…I really would love to know!

Alicia….this so true and pertinent not only to fitness, but life. I have been learning a lot about myself lately and these same questions have come up in some sort of way…..It is truly knowing what your purpose is and living purposefully and doing it to your fullest ability…without reservations. Also knowing who you truly are and not living based on thoughts and feelings about other peoples opinions of you. I know that when you are aligned with what your purpose is and you are here sharing your talents, serving and growing with the people you encounter everyday, you will already be living the plan our creator has for you….I love this….

What an inspiration! To me Dax is a man of faith. I can appreciate that he can only be who he is as I am to myself. God is the only one that can judge me and I pray I fulfill the purpose He has set for me.
